iStopped app for iPhone and iPad

iStopped is the first application that allows you to automatically send an email notification from your iPhone if for any reason you stop moving while you are on an outdoor adventure. This application is perfect for those of you who hike, bike, or jog and want to have a way to alert someone if you stop longer than you expected.

The application uses GPS technology with a timing mechanism to monitor your progress. If for any reason you stop moving for a period of time, an alarm is sounded warning you that an email notification will automatically be sent to your contact. You determine how long you can be stopped before an email notification is sent and you also determine who will receive the email notification. You will also have the ability to manually override the application from sending an automatic email notification.

Once the alarm is sounded and if you do not respond, the application sends the notification and will display to your contact where you were when the notification was sent. The email contains a link to Google Maps. This link contains the information Google needs to place a red pin on the location where you were when the notification was sent.

If you do not move from your location and do not respond to the alarm, email notifications will continue to be sent to your contact.

Supported Devices:

iStopped will only work on iPhone 3GS or higher. The application is NOT supported on any other device.
